Tomorrow is Father’s Day. That, and an article I recently read about whether fathers are necessary prompted me to remember my own father and ask if and how his presence in my life shaped me into the person I am today. For one thing, like a fair number of you, my relationship with my father was, well, conflicted.

If it were not for my dad, the seven of us would have ended up in foster homes and I wouldn't be the person I am today. My mom couldn't/wouldn't take care of us. Thanks Dad!

I hope I am needed as its the best job I've ever had,although I do often hear the words useless directed at me everytime i try to dress one of the girls.
