Karl Rove, national hero and the Brain behind Bush, in Lafayette Tuesday

Did you get your ticket to lunch with Republic icon Karl Rove?

Alas, it is TOO late. An eagle-eyed reader pointed that out.

The former senior advisor and deputy chief of staff to President George W. Bush will be at Lafayette’s Veteran’s Hall as a guest of Political Vanguard and the Contra Costa County Republican Party.
Well, if you can’t get it, you could always pick up a copy of his new  book, Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight. Lots of copies available at Barnes and Noble.
Rove is now a political analyst and commentator with Fox News, Newsweek, and The Wall Street Journal. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. at the hall, 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette.

  1. If anyone thinks HCR will be repealed, they're delusional. The Dems front-loaded HCR with great stuff like: Preventing pre-existing condition exclusions and closing the donut hole. Is repealing these things going to be the GOP platform?

    Good luck!

  2. Is that really far from reality? I don't know but this doesn't really affect me at all. So what if he;s declared to be one. That was just a title anyway. Well, sure an honorable title and that's that.
