Got word a little while ago that Mark Christopher Litton, the 33-year-old English teacher at Orinda’s Miramonte High, will be arraigned Tuesday on felony charges.
Litton, who lives in a Walnut Creek apartment complex, was arrested last week on suspicion of having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, a former student. He was booked into County Jail in Martinez on $250,000 bail.
Walnut Creek police Capt. Tim Schultz says that the alleged victim is a 17-year-old girl, but declined to say whether the alleged sexual relationship with Litton involved a one-time incident or something more ongoing. He said the investigation is still open.

I also went to school with a student and teacher who a couple of years after we graduated, got married. She was a couple of years older than me, he was well past his 40s.
I also clearly recall how some of the girls in high school would try very hard to seduce the male teachers who were younger. It was sort of a game to see who had the best skills at nabbing “an older man.” This was Catholic HS in the early 80s. Back when we didn't wear skimply clothes, being a Ho was very bad, and having babies out of wedlock were taboo.
