  1. I figured as much when I heard that they had found a black bag today.Geez, I am just so sorry for her parents. I’m glad that they found her, though, so her parents don’t have to go through their lives wondering what happened to her.

  2. Sleep peacefully little one.Let us hope that the monster who did this is brought to justice soon.Prayers for those who loved her.

  3. This is so tragic, yet seems like it should of been totally preventable. Why was this girl allowed to walk from one friends house to another, alone, at the age of 8?RIP

  4. I understand that the trailer park in which she lives is very small and that the distance of the homes she went to is not very far. PLEASE don’t start blaming the victim’s parents. What if she had been taken from her front yard like Amber Swartz-Garcia?I’m sure most violence against children could be prevented if we simply kept them inside and under lock and key and make sure that they’re good an paranoid about people.

  5. I still wouldn’t allow an eight year old to just walk from house to house, no matter what neighborhood. It’s not blaming the parents, it’s called responsible parenting.

  6. 6:29,No, it’s called paranoia. Haleigh Cummings (the Florida girl) was kidnapped from her bed. Perhaps we should all sleep with our children to prevent a home abduction. You most certainly are blaming the parents, and you should be ashamed of yourself.Children older than Sandra are kidnapped, so we shouldn’t allow 14-year-olds or 16-year-olds to walk to the store?Children should be able to play in their neighborhoods. I live in a safe neighborhood, I guess. I allow my kids a reasonable amount freedom.
